Hubby is painting his pickup..so far he has a big gouge in his forhead and a small lump on other side from mallet hammer fallin on him. These "do it yourselfers" live on the edge don't they! But, over the years a ton of money has been saved. I'm just thrilled he FINISHES his projects before beginning new ones!!!

It is Friday and Monday Nita begins the new school year. Right now my only do-it-self project is watering and watching my zucchini grow. It was a gift for my 70th birthday from Daughter Charity. They are growing fast in this heat. 77 this morning and 107yesterday. Our ac is on all day plus 3 floor fans and 2 window fans to blow out the heat. HAorHOT
hmmmm..zuchinni..here's a couple recipes:
2 cups grated zucc
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
salt to taste
mix. medium hi heat oil..drop zucc by tablespoons and cook each side til golden
2nd recipe
slice 2 zukes, 2 yellow squash
mix with parm cheese, garlic salt, dill..put in microwavable dish..dot with butter..nuke 4-5 min
