James holmes..we see him in the court room. He looks, to me, like a lost soul in need of redemption. I know many hate him and I possibly would had my family member been his victim, but to look at him I see someone lost. He did plan, he bought his weapons...can an insane person do that? Is he sane? God only knows at this point.

The Bible does say that God so loved the world that He gave His Son. The Bible also says that He desires that none perish.
He looks lost because he lost his humanity. He crossed the line of redemption. The thief on the cross did not loose his humanity and plot a course of destruction. He was able to repent, this man is not.
Only God knows the hearts of men, so I'll leave judgement up to Him, but if I had a loved one in that theater who was injured or killed, I might feel differently.
