Such wasted time when unforgiveness rules
Withholding your love seems so very cruel.
No discussion, or understanding just pulling away
Vowing to hate for the rest of your days.
Yes, things were said, things that hurt each one
but, destroying relationships just to say you won?
Families are precious and time is so short
Bitterness should be the last resort.
Pride is reigning supreme in you two
Please let's ask..what would Jesus do?
Do you really want the devil to win?
Unforgiveness and pride, both are sin.
Make up make up, I'm begging you
In my eyes and God's eyes, it's the right thing to do.
Thanksgiving and Christmas, holidays filled with love
Ask help in forgiving from our Father above

Wow! That's beautiful, Flo! And it's so true. It really is better to forgive. Life is too short to not forgive.
thanks Tammy. we have a situation that prompted me to write this. I seem to forgive easily really..will even work at making peace even if I feel I'm right..it just messes up everthing when someone withdraws their love.
Let Go....Let God is the best way to handle family issues. Often the less we do the more God does...Our Father in Heaven knows all about it.
ah yes..my cousin with wisdom to offer. thanks Bob. Puts it into perspective!!!
